At DiversiMed, Inc. we believe that preauthorization and precertification are the cornerstones of cost containment.  It is through professional prospective utilization review that you begin to maximize your healthcare dollars -- by identifying potentially costly claims before the spending starts, not after.

Our staff is comprised of fully licensed healthcare professionals, each of whom is clinical expert.  Physician Advisor support, Board Certified in Utilization Review and Quality Assurance, is available for all denials.

It is your benefit guidelines that we will use to establish the services that we preauthorize or precertify for your insureds, thus delivering custom tailored cost containment.

Prospectively, before the care begins, we work with you to developing cost saving guidelines for your insured group.  We can assist in negotiating cost saving service fees with your healthcare providers, too.

Concurrently, we precertify and preauthorize care according to your guidelines using our unique case management intervention program.

Retrospectively, we keep you advised of the status of each healthcare claim, along with a summary report of your savings at case closeout.

Nonroutine hours coverage is provided by a DMI registered nurse on beeper call.  These calls are addressed within two hours of the next business morning.  The DMI toll free numbers are national lines, for your plan members' convenience.
